Coming to a close

The holidays are going to end soon, and I still haven't done what I've set out to accomplish. Sorry to the people who I pissed off yesterday, because I was frustrated trying to learn how to speak with a filipino accent. Also, apologies to anyone whom I may have offended in the last year, especially anyone in our class, we're all good friends, right?

Sadly I'm still only on my first series on the re-watch list. Right now I'm on episode 4 of 'Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu', and I doubt I can watch all my 4 anime series (Kanon, CLANNAD, SHnY, Lucky Star) by Friday, since CLANNAD, Kanon and Lucky Star come to a total of about 24 hours of watching. That is intense, yo. And I still have other stuff I want to do.

But I already covered a bit of Kanon, since I already watched the Mai arc just to remind myself a bit.

Anyway, damn, because of christmas, CLANNAD After Story 13's subs have been delayed. Even now, I still wait for the episode to be posted up on the eclipse website so that I can torrent and seed later.

I can't play DotA unless you guys don't mind me dcing very often (it tends to happen at the most important times) so.

...Damn my blogging skills have really diminished.

Another template skin

I find the template skins to have a certain amount of finesse that pyzam doesn't have. Mostly because theirs is a simple 2 or 3 brushes together with the template skin base. Anyway, I changed the skin to, well, this, since the colour is nice and kind of looks like parchment paper in some bizarre way. I remade a new header too, since the old one was specifically for backgrounds of that colour.

I will eventually do something about the cbox, but for now you guys can just deal with it. Post coming up soon, maybe tomorrow or later on. For now, I'm going to play.

Since the holidays is coming to an end, with only a few days left, and those days being taken up by drama practice, I thought I would spend my last few days doing something worthwhile. Although I suggested having at least one more outing, it seems everyone is too busy getting back into school mode, and with me and Zong and Danyal out of commision for the most part, due to drama practice, I guess it's impossible.

So today, I came back from drama and played a game of fail-DotA with Zong, Danyal and David, which ended promptly when half of us DC'd. So I was bored and went to read up on some trolling in Gamefaqs and read the 'Best of 2008' articles by Gamespot. Thankfully, Valkyria Chronicles actually won something, though I thought it would win at least Most Innovative. But some game called Braid got it, and various other awards too. I'm surprised it didn't even make it into the finals, I guess it wins most underrated game of 2008. I was listening to the Kanon OST after that and was listening to 'Shoujo no Ori' which is, in all technicality, Mai's theme, and translates into 'The Girls' Cage".

The song alone made me have that 'Ungh.. sad anime...' feeling so I decided to watch Mai's arc, starting from the 'swordplay' exhibition in the ballroom, until the end of it, and not surprisingly I almost cried again. I know most of you probably can't imagine me with a sobbing face, but I probably look weird.

So I decided, in these last few moments of my holiday, I would re-watch all the anime in my folder. This means, The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, Kanon, Lucky Star and CLANNAD. Sadly I don't have AIR in my folder, but I'll get it eventually.

So, like, don't bother me unless you get at least a 2v2 for a DotA game, or you want to play a pub. Otherwise, I'll either be on my PSP playing Dissidia, watching one of above-mentioned animes, or preparing myself for School.

Suzumiya Haruhi

Merry Christmas everyone!

All hail Suzumiya Haruhi, for she is Goddess and Tanigawa Nagaru is her prophet.

I've recently delved deeper into Haruhiism, and done research. In the last 2 hours, I've found the things that have made this day the best Christmas in my life so far. To say what I've found, well, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yakusoku, which directly translates into 'The Promise of Suzumiya Haruhi', which is a visual novel for the PSP based on the Suzumiya Haruhi anime franchise. Next up, would be probably the best thing so far, all 9 chapters of the Suzumiya Haruhi light novel, translated into english! So in school next year, you'll probably see me going around with sheets of paper stapled together, and reading for most of my spare time. Next, I found a translation project for above mentioned Suzumiya Haruhi no Yakusoku. Although it's going slowly, it's still going on, which is extremely good, for me anyway. And finally, I've been enlightened in the ways of Haruhiism.

Right now I'm torrenting a shitload of stuff, and seeding stuff I recently finished. First would be the torrent for Suzumiya Haruhi no Yakusoku, which I sure as hell am not going to pass up. Second would be Dissidia: Final Fantasy, which, although in Japanese, should be fun anyway. And lastly is Fate/Stay Night's visual novel, which I already have the english patch for.

What I've already finished would be Planetarian, the visual novel by KEY which isn't their normal romance, but rather is a science fiction, which is why I originally didn't bother about it, but now that I'm almost finishing my current visual novel, I decided I'd get a few more just in case I'm still into the whole VN scene.

As for the Visual Novel I'm playing now, it's called ONE ~To the Radiant Season~, which is a visual novel made in 1998 by Tactics, which is KEY, who made CLANNAD, Kanon, AIR and the like, way back before they formed KEY itself. Surprisingly, despite what I'd seen in screenshots, the art and music and stuff are actually good, and the characters are interesting, albeit somewhat generic. Also, a lot of the girls use 'Uguuu' so now I know that Ayu wasn't the first to use it.

Bored, I guess

I feel an obligation to keep my blog alive for the sole purpose of competing with Bristan's blog, and to give everybody else something to read as they do their own stuff (Play DotA, paint plastic models, read books or whatever the hell Thomas and Dornel do).

So as most of you know (The stupid people probably don't), I just got back from my vacation, which was a 4 day 3 night stay in Batam at HARRIS hotel resort thing. It was fun I guess, for the most part you guys have seen my intense (and uneven) sunburn and Zong has some kind of remnants of skin flaking in his house, but probably not since I was wearing clothes.

Annnyyywayyy, while I have nothing to give you all from Batam (Seriously, there wasn't anything. The most high-tech thing I saw there, not counting PC and laptops, was a PSP. There were fake Gameboys and DS and PSP too, probably the guys there are being cheated by some supplier that likes to manipulate people), and unless you guys wanted toilet pipes, you all shouldn't be complaining.

After I came back, I realised I had to go to Drama Practice 2 days later and got all pissed off (as usual), so when Thomas started 'baa-ing' to me on msn I blocked him immedietely and probably pissed him off. As usual. Next 2 days were spent stoning at home. On Sunday night I was sort of invited to go to Zong's pseudo-Gayzember, to which I agreed since I had played enough of ONE~TTRS~ for 2 days.

I only brought one pair of clothes since I wasn't expecting to sleepover with my sunburn but somehow I gave into temptation. Anyway we spent Monday playing World Tour at Zongs house, and I learned that Zong's singing is horrible, but then again, so is mine.

I can't wait to get World Tour, they have j-Pop songs that were fan-mapped, and there are songs like God Knows from the Suzumiya Haruhi soundtrack, and probably others like Lost my Music.

Oh my Haruhi, I can't wait. >_<

Well this past few days have been the best for most of the holiday, only topped by Gayfest in October and finding the CLANNAD translation patch/voice patch/visual novel game. So far, I've gone to my very first anime convention, taken a picture while being squeezed in between two girls (Oh my gosh, that was so exciting >_<), gotten a good high quality Haruhi Suzumiya model for a cheap $25, obtained 3 super-cute chibi Haruhi/Yuki/Mikuru figures for a total of $50, and obtained the Kanon visual novel with a teaser patch, and finally gotten a website that is doing the Kanon translation which looks almost done already.

Awesome.

Spoils of the war

Well, I'll start off this post by saying what I bought. A $50 set of chibi Haruhi, Yuki and Mikuru in bunny girl outfits with little extra accesories, a $25 model figure of Haruhi Suzumiya herself, which is of very high quality and came mint condition in the box, a $5 Tsukasa phone pouch, $9 worth of stickers that can stick to anything (which is the 3 stickers of Kyou, Fuuko and Nagisa), a $7 Konata sticker (the blue one), and a free D.N Angel DVD box.


We met up at City Hall MRT early in the morning, around 10:20 by the time we had all arrived at there. We took the MRT to the Expo place, and ate at Subway. After that, it was already 11:20, so we decided to quickly head off to the place. Even though we were about 30 minutes after the opening when we got there, there were still considerably few people there, compared to how many there were at the end of the event. There were lots of cosplays ranging from Lucky Star to Naruto, as you can see at the top part of the post.

First thing to do was start camwhoring while we still could, while everyone else got irritated with me gawking at all the anime stuff. Sadly there was nothing that had to do with CLANNAD or Lucky Star.

We took a lot of picutres with the cosplayers, especially the female ones which were better and fancier, maybe the frilly dresses made them look really good. We also noticed that cosplayers started coming in groups, that consisted of the same anime. Or.. at least, I did.

The first purchase I made was the Tsukasa pouch, for 2 for $5, and gave one to Randall (My old Junior friend), and then we started to walk around and take pictures of the various cosplayers, although my camera soon was running low on battery.

There were performances by people too, and most of them were songs, but some of them were dances and stuff like that, like group called 'Natsu' (?) that did an interesting dance, though I expected the music to burst out into a J-Pop song and them starting to go hyper and dancing.

Anyway, skipping stuff since most of the stuff is the same, we walked around more and more, and finally ended up at the Cosplay Competition at 4 when we sat down in the hall and watched the registered cosplayers do their thing on stage. They posed and stuff, some did skits and some had a small action thing.

Later on it reached the team cosplay competition, and that's when it really got awesome. A group of 47 Naruto cosplayers jumped on stage doing a skit that I can only presume has been rehearsed for weeks. At first they did each of the genin squads, and then they started to do a fight scene with Naruto and Sasuke obviously starting off. Sadly this is also where my camera died on me and my video cuts off there. Later on the other rivals and stuff came up too.

After that most of the team cosplays weren't as impressive, but they were definitely interesting. The one that I thought actually stood a chance against the Naruto team one was the two people that did that dance thing. But sadly I have no idea what anime that's from. Finally the team cosplay competition ended with a Hare Hare Yukai dance by a Haruhi group, but sadly only Yuki and Kyon cosplayers could dance properly, and in the end their dance didn't even follow the one that the seiyuu's danced at Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekisou, which would have been awesome.

Finally event came to close, I went home by MRT with Randall who left about 4 stops before I got off, and I walked home from there.

Mm, I'm really glad I went. My christmas present (the figures) are pretty awesome too, and them sitting on the desk make me super happy just looking at it. The $25 Haruhi figure is definitely the best, and is very detailed with almost no paint smudges, in fact, I think there's only one, but it's only seeable if you look very very closely.

On the other hand, the $50 set had some missing parts, but I made up for it with a G2 pen ink tube.

Well then, I'm tired and stuff so I guess I'll go play a game or smth.
Also; I got the Kanon and AIR games, HAPPY!

Kanon Update

Well, I hope you're ready for a considerably long post. With pictures. Ehehe, hope you have fun reading it!

I just finished episode 19 of Kanon which marks the end of the Shiori arc and the start of the Ayu arc. This means that I am near the end of Kanon, which spans a total of 24 episodes, and its only been like 2 days since I started watching Kanon. This is why I want the visual novels for the games, they last way longer. For example, if I were to watch CLANNAD, I could probably go through the whole thing in 1 or 2 days, but going through the many different arcs of CLANNAD in the Visual Novel clocked in about 15 hours of gameplay, which seems to last a lot longer than it actually is because of the intense amount of reading. Sadly, the translation patches out for Kanon only are about 57% of the entire game, which is definitely not satisfying enough for me. Though, I wonder if there's an official (meaning I buy the CD) version of Kanon that is translated in english. Hopefully it is the standard edition, in which case I can ask my mom to buy it for me. I'd have trouble getting it if it was the 18+ version, argggh.

So far I've finished the Makoto, Shiori and Mai arcs, and enjoyed them all thoroughly. Though if I had to pick one, it would be the Makoto arc, since hers was the only one to push me to the point of watery eyes. I was going to make a photo montage to put up on the blog today, but then in episode 19 there were flashbacks of all the girls, and finally Ayu and Yuiichi kissing, so I just used the flashback images instead of going through 19 episodes of screenshots. Sadly I was too lazy to compile it nicely, but, whatever.

I'm definitely enjoying Kanon as another one of Key-inspired animes, much like Air and CLANNAD. Their definitely at the top of my list of favourite animes, along with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. But anyway, let's get in depth.



Makoto's arc, actually, I don't have much to say about it. I already talked about it in my last post.




Mai's arc was kind of weird with he chance meeting. I enjoyed the short picnic scenes and watching Mai do all kinds of weird stuff that Yuiichi told her to do, and find her not to be too much of a stereotype. I dunno if you could really call her a tsundere, since I've become accustomed to using that term for people like Kyou and Kagamin (aggresive and stuff on the outside, but soft on the inside), while Mai is more of a cool, passive person that is hiding her feelings for the sake of other people. Her introduction was kind of weird, with Yuiichi just deciding to visit her every night like that, and then them becoming friends like that. But then again, Yuiichi was a childhood friend of Mai, so maybe it was because of that, that Mai allowed him to be her friend so easy.

I liked the way her arc ended, and how they made it happen. Watching Mai stab herself was a "WHAT THE HOLY SH*T F*CK?!" moment, but what happened after totally made it work. However, after they went to the hospital, I haven't seen any references to Mai and Sayuri, other than the flashback scene in episode 19.



Shiori's arc was neat. You notice how they actually introduce you to the characters about one arc before that character's own arc. I find Shiori to be the cutest of all the girls though, and maybe it's because of her attitude. Though, I didn't expect her to be Kaori's sister, even after we found out her surname was Misaka, I completely forgot that Kaori's surname was that. The fountain also made for really cool scenes to watch, but I'm surprised they didn't say anything about the fountain changing colours, since I found that part kind of pretty. Best of all was the kiss that Shiori stole when Yuiichi turned around, but it must really suck for him to be kissed by a girl and then the girl has to leave him behind.

I found it odd that after that episode, even after the kiss, that Yuiichi doesn't even go to visit Shiori or anything like that, but the anime clearly shows how he still thinks about it. Though, I'm still wondering if Shiori is still alive.


Kanon also seems to have a theme of miracles too, what with Amano talking to Yuiichi about miracles after Makoto disappears, and how Kaori talks to Yuiichi, being pessimistic about miracles and stuff like that. And I noticed that all of Key-inspired anime have balls of light, or snow, or something really pretty to set the feeling for each of the animes.

Hmm...
I will report back after I watch Ayu's arc. Though I'm kind of wondering.. isn't Nayuki also a main heroine? Haven't seen any signs of an arc for her.

Makoto's Arc

-SPOILER ALERT! (For Kanon)-

I just finished watching until episode 10 of the 2006 Kanon series. I have to say, it kept my eyes watery for about 20 minutes or so. Well, like Dornel said, there wasn't any outright bawling for the most part, but the little details like Akiko turning away and sobbing quietly as Yuiichi and Makoto left the house, made the whole thing just as sad. But the Makoto and Fuuko arcs were kind of similiar in how it ended abruptly, and it builds up right from the 2nd or 3rd episodes where they make everyone in the anime slowly grow to like the character (Makoto/Fuuko) more, and then suddenly the main hero (Yuiichi/Tomoya) finds out that their time with the character is limited, and they start to spend time together, ultimately spending one or two nights together with that character (No Sexual Activity intended), before they have to part.

Mm, I really liked Makoto though. She was quite cute, and the 'Auuu~' thing, I thought it was a 'cute sound' that all the Kanon girls seem to have, except after awhile I realised that it was the sound that the fox could make.

As usual, KyoAni's choice of music made for the perfect sad atmosphere that would ultimate lead up to the end, and it has left a deep strong impression on me.

I was talking to Sasha just now (You might remember that I met with her a few months ago), and apparantly not all girls like to watch these, so-called, 'boring and slow' anime, and actually would rather have action and stuff. So I figure I'm just a weird male at this point. A weird male that enjoys watching Shoujo that no one else watches.

I'm going to the EOY anime convention with Merrill and gang instead of my JS friend on Saturday, but chances are I'll make a blog post tomorrow about Valkyria Chronicles and my next Kanon arc (I probably cover two or three full arcs by tomorrow, maybe even finish the whole anime.)

Kanon and.. other.. random.. shit...

Well, on Tuesday, December 8th, us as a group went out together, presumably for the last time before school starts and we all go our seperate ways in our different classes. Hopefully we all keep in touch, and I mean that with everyone, even Dornel and Thomas. Okay maybe not so much Thomas. But I'll definitely miss talking to you guys in between classes (Zong, Dornel, Thomas, David), even you guys that I don't talk to in between classes (Bristan, Danyal). I'm sure I'll keep in touch with Merrill and Dornel since we're all e-geeks and we enjoy playing against pubbies together, in contrast to Zong, Thomas, Bristan and Danyal. Hopefully, in the future we not only play DotA together, but we still go out together, and maybe even fulfill Zong's 'tradition' of organising a 'GayFest' every holiday that we can do one for. It looks like we won't have one for '08 December though, or maybe I just won't be here when it happens.

By the way, I'll be on holiday from 15th to the 19th of December.

As I was saying, on Tuesday, we met up at Borders and after much arguing, frustration and irritation, me and Zong caved in and decided to watch 'Bolt' with Danyal, Bristan and Merrill. After that we walked around Orchard thinking where to eat, until I finally decided to suggest Takashimaya, and Merrill led us there. We all ate Japanese food, basically, and later on we went to Newton MRT, all the while making jokes about Dornel screwing Zong with the EZ-Link card pass thing again. After that we went to Decoders and had surprisingly a fun time there, although I thought it would be boring. Definitely the best game we played was the writing-your-thoughts game. I'm sure we all enjoyed it, although Dornel was cheating a lot.

Recently I downloaded the Kanon series to watch so that I could argue with Dornel about CLANNAD, which we both seem to have forgotten about. Anyway, after finally finishing the download after 2 nights and 3 days, I opened up episode 1 to find out... I had gotten the wrong series. What I wanted was the 2006 edition which was animated by Kyoto Animation, but by accident I had gotten the 2002 edition which has considerably worse art. So I deleted 2002 and spent 2 days and 1 night downloading the 2006 edition, and I just got it a few hours ago. I'm on episode 4 now, and it seems that I'll genuinely enjoy watching. I noticed one CLANNAD character that seemed a lot like two Kanon characters.

While I sort of spoiled myself already, I plan on downloading the Kanon VN game with an english translation patch if I can find any, if not I guess I won't. But Ayu is so adorable~
I love how she jumps onto Yuiichi's bag and struggles around, the way her legs are flailing about is really cute.

Finally, after almost 50 hours, or so I estimate, of playtime, I've finished CLANNAD, 100%'d CG mode and fully completed the game, including all bad and true ends of each and every character. It was definitely a satisfying ending, although I found it strange that I didn't have the option to 'cry out' or not to 'cry out'.

Well in any case, the anime should still be interesting, they promised not to kill off Nagisa in that one, so I would assume it is different from the Visual Novel. But since the true end of the Visual Novel is for Nagisa not to die, I figure that the anime will finally get around to have to do with the light orbs that you should have seen if you watched the Yukine arc.

Right now I can't download it because either bleachexile.com's servers are clogged up, but it's okay, I probably already seen what happened in that episode through the Visual Novel.

Anyway, I'll be going to EOY Anime Fest '08 so I'm just making the tough decision between going with my old Primary 6 friend or Merrill, Jon Wei and Jon Wei's cousin. Hm...

After Story

After almost 9 intense hours of playing CLANNAD into the early hours of the morning, I have finished my first run-through of After Story. I can honestly say it almost made me cry, and if not for the music which totally contradicted the mood of events going on, I definitely would have. I can't really say anything since I'll spoil it for Bristan (The stuff I just went through is bound to happen in the anime later on.), but anyway.

Now that I've gone through the first run-through and earned 13 Orbs of Light, I can now play the 2nd mode of the After Story, or what the general public would call 'True End'. Basically I am not going to play it now, but from what I have gathered from my first run through, I will be able to use my orbs of light to save either Ushio or Nagisa, which is really a heartbreaking decision. No doubts, my dreams when I go to sleep soon will be about CLANNAD. Strangely the only other character whose future I've seen is Kyou's. I haven't seen Kotomi, Ryou, Tomoyo or any of the others recently.

CLANNAD, once again

I've been playing a LOT of CLANNAD the last 2 days, and have finally finished Story Mode.
Replaying Fuuko's arc was the saddest part of it, though I didn't expect Fuuko to reappear at the end after the wedding and after Tomoya and Nagisa and the rest forget who she is. Even more so, I didn't expect the 'True End' route to lead to Fuuko asking Tomoya on a date after the wedding/forgetting, while the 'Good End' route is where Fuuko asks Tomoya, Nagisa and Sunohara to be her friends.

I've also skipped through Koumura's route (The old not-so senile teacher), since it seemed to be totally about how Koumura's life has always been about just watching the students, but when Sunohara and Tomoya appeared as trouble cases he finally had someone he could really teach the values of life too. It also showed how important Koumura was in Tomoya's and Sunohara's life too. Honestly I couldn't care less, but it was in that arc that I made the wish for Fuuko.

Finally I re-did Nagisa's arc with all the little extra goodies here and there if you do it right. Finally I unlock Afterstory!
I opened it up and the first sequence was translated. I was so pumped as we left the 'Illusionary World' part and went into the 'Real World' part, only to find out it hadn't been translated yet. ARGH!

Only to be fair

Seems like I'm the only one actually posting about what I do in real life now. Zong has stopped posting entirely to pursue his other random hobbies, such as setting those darned Germans on fire, and making tanks blow open with bazooka. Also; he enjoys making models. Of vehicles. Bristan is sort of posting about what he does I guess, Danyal's blog is entirely made to update on bleach so it's more of a fansite, and not so much a blog any more. Infact, he's slow on updates so it's kind of fail anyway. Merrill hasn't posted anything since Hari Raya, but I still check every once in awhile. Dornel's blog is somewhere out there but I forgot. He probably would rather look for 2142 aimbots than update his blog anyway.

After my previous post about my drawing, I was bored enough to make another one, so I set out to practice. This time I had a better idea of what I was doing and it turned out a lot better than I thought. And it has a proper face this time!

Recently, in Bristan's blog, my battle with Dornel rages on about our opinions over CLANNAD. Since my only ammunition is having watched AIR and CLANNAD, while he keeps using Kanon as a reference, I am currently downloading Kanon and its OVA's and special episodes to watch so that I can argue with him properly.

Although I have already given up on like, forcing people to like CLANNAD, he keeps saying it sucks, so the battle will prevail on.

As you can see, I'm listening to Tori no Uta, which is the OP for AIR, and it makes me sad.

These two came bent and sort of messed up, and when their on my table, they face the table instead of looking straight forward. Ah, not much you can expect from cheap figures.

My Miyuki figure from the Lucky Star gachapon. Definitely the highest quality figure, strangely. Although the others are prettier and nicer to look at, this one is sturdy, and still adorable. Only thing is that the base is kind of bent around.

Past events

Well, today I was supposed to put up a post about my new, and my first anime figures I bought. But sadly my mom forgot to bring her camera home and so I can't show them off to you guys while bragging. But since I promised, I will post today.

Yesterday I woke up at 8:45a.m. and got ready. By the time I finished showering and all, it was about 9:20a.m. I set off with my wallet, phone, PSP and earphones and took off to Vivocity, thinking it would definitely take at least an hour to get there by public transportation. Of course, with my miserable knowledge of public transporation backing me up, I ended up in Vivocity at 10a.m., a whole 30 minutes earlier than I was supposed to meet the others. I called everyone but sadly almost everybody was at home and Dornel didn't pick up his phone. So I just walked around.

Passing by the Toys'R'Us, I remembered my friend saying that he got a Lucky Star keychain of Tsukasa which was really cute, and he got it from a Gachapon. So I went to the Gachapon place in Toys'R'Us, and with much embarrassment at myself for being ripped off, bought 2 Gachapon eggs from the Lucky Star machine fo $8 in total. Also; I got 2 Miyuki's. Worse part is that the figures I wanted was either Kagami or Konata, Tsukasa would be okay too, but I ended up getting Miyuki. Then I noticed they were all dressed up for fetish people. Konata in a swimsuit, Kagamin in a cheerleader outfit, Tsukasa in a miko outfit and Miyuki in the schoolgirl outfit. But I guess it's okay.

Later on I went to meet Dornel first, followed by Zong and Merrill. At first we just walked around since the hobby shop wasn't open, and I was all happy about going to the anime shops around VivoCity. But first, we went to Toys'R'Us and walked around a bit and looked at stuff like Thomas the Train, etc etc. And then we went to the other part of the building with the small anime shop. Sadly it was still closed, but instead we went to the TimeZone next to it and we all spent about $3 on TimeZone cards and played around a little. Then the anime shop had opened and we went inside and looked around. There was a lot of Naruto and Bleach figures but only 1 Haruhi figure, which was Mikuru's Mikuru Beam thing, but no Lucky Star figures. Oh well.

Next we went back to the hobby shop where Zong was looking at model tanks and I was looking at all the anime figures there while the others kept making jokes and insulting my love for all things anime. I saw a lot of anime figures there from ToHeart, Haruhi, Star Ocean, some other random animes. Some Fate/Stay Night too. In the end, after spending almost 30 minutes just looking at all the stuff, I ended up spending $15 on 5 anime figures for Haruhi.

In the end we took Taxi to Zong's house, did some rather random shit there blahblahblah. Went home, assembled my 6 anime figures and kept the spare Miyuki one in the drawer and put them on my desk.

Call of Duty: World at War

Well, me and my brother have finally finished CoD:WaW Co-Op today, and we finally got the Playstation 3's network up and running again. Apparantly when my dad turned on WEP security before, he triggered a switch that only allowed 4 specific MAC addresses to connect to the modem, which was my mom's, my dad's, mine and my brother's, but my PS3's MAC address wasn't included in the list for some reason. So I was toying around in the dataframe thingy just now and saw it, input my PS3's MAC address and it should work fine now.

Anyway, I woke up at about 10a.m. and we started playing World at War after doing the normal stuff (shower, teethbrush, but no breakfast though) and we went through about 5 stages before you guys called me to go play DotA. Since at the start of the game it said that there was an auto-save feature we didn't go and check anything about the saves. So we were like "Alright, let's stop and quit." and we did.

Later on my brother was bored and went to look at our save files and noticed that we had only unlocked the first stage. Irritated by this, I went to search the internet. Apparantly World at War's autosave doesn't work in Co-Op mode, and to unlock the stages you have to play it in solo campaign.

On a happier note, I played a bit of World at War online Co-Op and versus matches. It's quite fun and the lag is a definite improvement over Call of Duty 4. Out of the 12-13 matches I played, only 3-4 of them had a 1-bar connection, which is a lot better than Call of Duty 4, in which probably only 1 of them would have had good connection.

The maps are also very big and wide, and with a lot of hiding spaces. And there are tanks. Friggin tanks. I really suck at it but it's fun to play. Hopefully I get a BDS (Black Dot Sight) for my BAR soon, although I'm not sure if it even has one.

Lucky Star~

Recently I've taken a break from playing the CLANNAD game, after finishing off Kotomi's arc, to start rewatching Lucky Star. This one, I can't really say how many of you would like it. If anyone, I expected Merrill to like it but apparantly he found it boring so, I guess my whole assumption thing is off.

Well, it's December, as Dornel gladly comes to tell me around the 1st minute of December 1st. Christmas is coming soon and we only have a week of this holiday before we all go back into 'normal life'. And for you lucky people, you won't have to deal with Keith Tan or Arzami, damn it all.

Recently been hit by some kind of virus or something, my computer freezes if too many applications are going on, but since AVG can't pick up any virus, I'm assuming my computer is just running low on memory or something. Ah, my uncle from my father's side bought me Call of Duty: World at War and Fallout 3 so I can say something about them in this post.

Call of Duty: World at War

- I've only played until like the second mission, but I found the Co-Op screen placement quite ridiculous. The whole horizontal stacking thing worked fine, but in CoD:WaW, the screens are diagonally placed, so if you have a small TV, you're pretty much screwed right there. Also, the character skins for the Japanese and the Americans are only that little bit different, not counting the Japanese having a headband with the Japanese flag painted on it. Also they seem to like running at me wielding their bayonet guns and trying to poke me to death. The revive system is kind of lame in the Co-Op system, and I personally found it odd that the AI wouldn't ever bother about you on the floor, and often step over you. Another thing that kind of bugs me about these revival systems is that you are ready to get-up-and-go as soon as you get bandaged. And then you just fall down to that last bit of HP and you need to be revived again, but when you do there are no side-effects. If you really want a realistic experience, at least add like a cripple to running or a shaky aim-screen for a few seconds after being revived.

- The gun selection looks pretty sad too. So far out of 2 levels and almot 40 minutes of gameplay, I've only had the Namba pistol, the BAR, M1 Garand and some Japanese rifle, a 100-type machine gun-ish thingy and a 99-type disposal (?) machine gun thingy, and that one Thompson that my brother found in a secret area. Anyway, the real experience probably will come in online play, so hopefully I get my PS3's network settings up and proper soon.

Fallout 3

- Maybe it's just not my kind of game. I found it REALLY boring, and the whole dull backgrounds and all were very.. boring. So far the fighting system has me down. The V.A.S.T thingy, or something like that, pauses all time so you can properly shoot here and there, and whatnot. But to wear your weapon, or switch weapons, you have to press start, go to the menu, choose the items menu, pick the item you want, and then exit the menu. Kind of troublesome, since they could have used some other button set to do this.

- Anyway can't say much about this. Since it was a gift from my uncle, my mom didn't want me to ask him to exchange because she felt bad about it, but then I'd just have a PS3 game that I don't want to play. So I asked her to ask my uncle whether I can get Valkyria Chronicles and exchange in Fallout 3 for, well, that. Hopefully the shop has it, because I'm anticipating VC more than LittleBigPlanet. Anyway, for now I'll be playing WaW, but not too much, I think I've neglected my poor CLANNAD.exe

My first piece of art, completely coloured and shaded

This is the first piece of art that I ever really finished colouring. It's kind of failure, and her bust is way too big to be a student so I kind of failed at that. A sad attempt at drawing Kyou of CLANNAD, especially since the eyes are all wrong and the hair isn't right and the only part that is Kyou-ish is the hair-band-bracelet-thingy. I spent an hour on this using the pen tool to draw out lineart and stuff but I guess it's forgivable for my first try at this.

Oh well, today I spent the day at Zong's house mostly, from about 10:30a.m to 4:40p.m. We managed to finish off the Gears of War 2 Co-Op campaign and played some (very depressing) horde mode, which we couldn't get past even one wave. Probably because I suck. Anyway the ending for GoW2 is quite... predictable, which is proven by me and Zong being able to guess the ending of the thing. Afterwards we spent a short amount of time reading about theories that would explain the Lambent, imulsion and Adam Fenix. I think that's the name anyway, I can't remember.

Today : MEGAMAC SHIT HITS THE FAN!?

Damn you Zong.
Forcing me to post on my blog.

Today, I went to Zong's house because he wanted to play Gears of War 2 Co-Op and I was the first to reply him last night. I left my house around 9:30AM and took bus 105/196 to school and then took 33 to Zong's house. It was planned that I would stay until around 4-5PM. So I arrived at his doorstep and made my own NXE Avatar thingy, and made me look awesome. Ask Zong, he'll tell you. I look awesome. And then we started to gear up for Gears. (Ha, Ha, Ha)

I guess I was a bit enthusiastic to play such a hyped game, but it seemed just like an average FPS with a chainsaw. Really. It's just an FPS, with a chainsaw. I guess the first level was kind of boring, the training session, and Carmine being introduced (and being insulted by us a lot). I can't really remember, but next we went down into the Hollows which is where the Locust lurk. That level was okay I guess, I learned about all the various Locust monsters.

Then we had to do the worm. God I hate the worm. So damn bloody.

Anyway I can't remember anything else.
Except the MEGAMac was quite fun to eat I guess, though not as MEGA as I thought.

Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu~

冒険でしょでしょ~! (Bouken Desho? Desho?)

I've flung into full Haruhi fever, which stemmed from watching people try to dance Motteke! Seifuku, which is the OP to the Lucky Star anime, to seeing Haruhi characters spoofed into the Mottke! Seifuku OP from Lucky Star, to watching people dance Hare Hare Yukai (Some of them even danced it in the middle of New York streets! Daring, I tell you. The pride of the Otaku), and then I watched Aya Hirano perform it herself along with the Seiyuu of Yuki and Mikuru, and finally during the encore (or oncoreh, as the Japanese were chanting), Kyon and Koizumi's Seiyuu also came out to dance.

I've spent the last 2 hours trying to download the Haruhi anime music like 'Bouken, Desho? Desho?' and 'Hare Hare Yukai' (which literally translates into 'Sunshine Sunshine Happiness') so that I can listen to some music on the way to Zong's house tomorrow. I was also watching some videos from Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekisou (The Extravagance of Suzumiya Haruhi) and am currently trying to find a way to get the songs 'God Knows...' and 'Lost My Music' that was sung by Haruhi (Aya Hirano) during the School Festival episode, when Yuki and Haruhi were filling in for the missing members in ENOZ. At least, I think it was the school festival.

Recently I considered becoming a Haruhiist, but if I filled that in for my religion in the school's personal particulars sheet I'd probably get sent for some serious counselling and they'd check my computer to make sure I never watch anime again. That would seriously suck.

Anyway I'm putting videos of Hare Hare Yukai and Motteke! Seifuku into my PSP so I can watch AND listen on the way to Zong's house. Hopefully there aren't too many people on the bus at 10a.m.

Ah, I've also been torrenting Lucky Star since this morning, I found a torrent that had all 24 episodes, but I'm only 25% done, and I will leave it until tomorrow evening when I get back from Zong's. Hopefully by then it will be done, and I can re-watch Lucky Star again.

CLANNAD After Story

-DEFINITE SPOILERS AHEAD-
.....

Hmm, just watched CLANNAD: Afterstory Episode 8 and it concluded Yukine's arc.

I guess it was touching in it's own way,
Especially how Yukine tried to end the fight by pretending to be her brother.
At first when I saw the silhoutte I thought that Tomoyo had come to end it,
By acting as Kazuto.
But I didn't expect it to be, well, Yukine.
Also, the fight scene was fun to watch, seeing Okazaki being badass again.
Though the ending was kind of weird.

Especially since the gangs come together to respect Kazuto's passing away,
Even the rival gang came to pray.
I kind of thought they would form one big gang after that.
But maybe this is to show CLANNAD's theme of 'Family',
How Yukine tried to accept how her brother lived,
And how she sorta tried to take the place of her brother,
And how she finally understood her brother and his, er, 'way of life' after he dies.

Anyway the ending of the episode shows Yukine telling us about a folk story in the town that CLANNAD takes place in.
How when happiness occurs in this town, an orb of light will appear,
And the orb of light represents 'happiness'.
Okazaki apparantly revealed that he saw the orb of light,
So Yukine refers to Okazaki as 'special'.

The preview has me excited, it looks like Nagisa's question about whether or not Okazaki has anything planned for the future has got him thinking and in a state of depression.
Or maybe they got into a fight.
Usually the preview is pretty decieving though.

Anyway, I just noticed that at the start of the episode where they show the episode name, there are like 7 orbs of light.
Which means... it's Ushio and Nagisa's arc now!

I made a CLANNAD Playlist of songs from the OST I downloaded, and their all sad songs,
So everytime I listen to it I kind of shiver all over.
But somehow listening to CLANNAD songs makes me a lot better at DotA.

Hm..

Recently the group hasn't played any DotA games,
Or no one is planing them.
Or their just completely ignoring me because they hate that I'd rather play CLANNAD than talk to them about trivial, completely no-use matters.
I've already shunned Merrill a lot,
And Dornel is annoying, how he keeps asking me if I'm done.

I mean seriously, even if I'm finished, do I even talk to you guys?
Unless we're planning a game I mean.
Or maybe you guys just got sick of my arrogance everytime I win a game.
Which isn't that often anymore, sadly.

So I was bored and reading through Monster Hunter Orage on onemanga.com
But apparantly they only go up to Chapter 7 and they don't follow up on it.
So I was bored and was going through the manga list and passed AIR.
Then I decided I would re-read AIR.

In case you people don't know, which you probably don't, AIR was made by the same people that made CLANNAD and Kanon, which is a company called Key.

Ah... the manga drawing is so pretty, and although in the manga it's different a little.
But since this is the first time I've seen the manga, and I needed a recap of the events anyway.

Misuzu doesn't die in the manga like she does in the anime.
Hm... I though that was definitely one of the most touching scenes I've seen in anime.
But meh, I didn't think that the manga was different.
But the manga Misuzu is cuter so, arr.
They didn't go to the summer festival either.
Probably because it ends when Misuzu calls Haruko 'Ma Ma'.

CLANNAD Part 3

Well I thought that after finishing the game in the Nagisa path, I would unlock Afterstory mode.
Little did I expect, I have to finish all the other girls arcs!
This includes:

-Fuko
-Kyou
-Ryou
-Misae
-Tomoyo
-Kotomi
-Yukine
-Mei

So far I've only finished Mei's path. And since holding down the CTRL button let's you skip through dialogue, I was holding it and trying to spam through Misae's path but alas, it was a failure. I kept GAMEOVER'ing (which is actually just being sent to the title screen without seeing the real ending).

Well, so far I only have Mei's light orb, but I must persevere! I can do this if I believe in myself, and I will unlock Afterstory mode, and finish off Nagisa and Ushio's path!

CLANNAD Part 2

Well I'm deep into the game now, around the part where Nagisa asks Tomoya to play a game of basketball.

It's more engaging than the anime, but the anime's art is definitely better.

And also the english translation path is a bit unrefined and there are a few bugs here and there, but nonetheless the game is understandable.

I'm also glad, I've been torrenting since like 5PM and looks like my voice patch for CLANNAD will be done soon!

I can't wait to get into the different arcs, but right now I'm just trying to do this properly, because I don't know when I actually get to do the arcs.

I've only seen Kotomi once and the last time I saw Fuko was when I gave her back her knife.

Meh.

New banner up

It's 1:15AM on a Monday morning and I just finished my new blog banner.
While some people may think that I watch these kinds of animes for the girls,
I actually find the storyline very interesting (and tearjerking).
I dunno, I guess I'm just different from the rest of you guys.

Though, if there's anything to write about,
I'm growing increasingly acceptant of Dornel delving into my virtual life.
Mostly because I can't stop him even if I tell him to fuck off, and respect my privacy.
But, yeah.

Somehow my relationship with Zong is better than during School,
Maybe because we aren't insulting each other over random shit anymore.

Thomas is faggier than ever now, calling me a deprived person because I don't like English songs.
I mean, at first I was like "I'm not deprived, I just like japanese music better."
And he just keeps saying "deprived jap otaku (or jap shit I can't remember)"
And me being the wanna-be Japanese Otaku that I am, I start to fire back,
and eventually block him for a total of 5 minutes.

I've also been talking to my ACS(Junior) friend recently,
He seems to have become as otaku as Merrill,
still nowhere near me but yeah.

I guess, eventually when Bristan reads this he's going to think that I lied about China.
But I didn't!
It was just cancelled.
Ah well, I'm sorry.
Even if I wasn't going to China, I don't think I would've went to your camp.
Sorry.

Damn! Recently we haven't played DotA together,
Now Zong/Bristan/Thomas are all at Bristan's church camp,
I presume Merrill is overseas,
and Danyal keeps asking for games but never gets anyway.
GRARGH.

I can't wait for 'December'fest (remember, my parents read this occasionally).

Toki wo Kizamu Uta

I just downloaded Clannad After Story episodes 1-6, and I went through the first 2 episodes no problem, just kind of flew through it. Then I noticed that the opening song was really pretty, and I decided "Heck, might as well just watch the whole thing."

I didn't expect it to almost make me tear (God, I suck.) I find Clanad to be a really magical anime, I don't know, just watching the opening of After Story makes my heart 'feel' warm and my whole body shivers.

In case you can't see it, the video up there is by a person on youtube who can play the TV version of the song on the piano, and it's really beautiful.

Back to typical life

I just came back from Zong's sleepover today.
My mom was all happy to have me back, because the house is quiet without me.
Now she's angry and pissed off.

It was because my Dad was trying to encrypt my internet and locked us out of it by accident.
Then my mom kept asking me repeatedly what happened with a damned frustrated look on her face.
Of course I got annoyed - she asked me like 5 times already.

Finally I was like "It was what you did last time, you tried to encrypt the internet and then it locked us out without asking us what we wanted to put as the Network Key".
This is when she started to get pissed (and effectively piss me off).
She looks at me and is like "Well, thank you" sarcastically and walks off.
A minute later she comes back -
AND ASKS AGAIN "What did Dad do"

I'm like "He did what you did last time".
Since she's my mom I can't do anything so I just explained again.
She walks out to the backyard and sips wine and comes back.
"You know what? The ONLY reason we're not encrypted is because of your stupid PS3 and because you were trying SO hard to get online, but you can't go online if we're encrypted."

At that point I'm really pissed off and start ignoring her - because what actually happened was, we were unencrypted. I didn't know we could pick the 'None' option when they asked us for Network Security, so I said "We have to set up an encryption to let my PS3 get online."
So we tried to set it up and got ourselves kicked out.

Now shes distorting it so it's the other way.
Irritating.
Then my dad finds out what the key is and my mom keeps ranting, and my dad says "Shut up lah, it's already solved."
Then my mom stomps off and the rest is just me ignoring my mom, with her talking about "This kind of children".

Maybe she's just drunk but whatever.

Anyway Zong's sleepover was okay I guess.
The only thing I got from it was a stomachache, Claymore anime series, Haruhi anime series - which I already watched but want it so that I can keep it for keepsakes, and some Japanese by THYME and the Macross Frontier soundtrack.

The 1st day was us meeting at 1:15pm to go to Zong's house by shuttle bus.
I met Dornel first and then Bristan came while we were waiting in the shuttle bus.
We played some DOA4 as all the other guys wanted to see a scene.
After that, we went to fetch Merrill because Zong wanted us to go to NTUC and buy stuff for the sandwich making competition, in which we make a sandwich for the other team and they have to eat whatever we make.

My team - Merrill, Bristan and I, bought baby food (some fruit flavor), wasabi potato chips, and some other thing.
Zong's team - Zong, Thomas and Dornel, got baby food (egg custard), big chillis, some kind of chinese bean and some other thing.

Obviously we were a bit surprised (and I was secretly angry) that they bought such.. weird stuff.
We went back to Zong's house and did random stuff fo rhte rest of the day, had a BBQ at the end of the day, during which we were supposed to take a nice short walk in the pool which turned into a raging water fight.

So Bristan, Merrill and Thomas went upstairs first to shower and change while me, Zong and Dornel stayed in the pool for a while longer.
We found this platform where we all sat in a triangle and pretended to meditate, when a indian security guard came up from behind us and was like "Oi, you're not supposed to be in the pool with clothes" and we're all LOLing.

After that the night was quite uneventful.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEEEEN

Finally finished Clannad

So after 3 days of downloading and watching animes,
I finally finished Clannad.
Of course there's still the After-Story, but that's for a later post.
It was a good anime, very sad for me I guess,
But for people like Zong, Thomas and Merrill, I guess they'd just laugh.
Hn... the Otaku in me hits me hard.

The story is basically revolving around Tomoya who goes around helping girls.
The first arc about Fuuko Ibuki was good, spanning almost half the series.
Ending was sad, but I can't spoil it for you people who want to watch.
Then again it's predictable, but sad nonetheless.

Then the Kotomi arc, which was interesting I guess, not really saddish,
But it had crying, lots of crying.

Er, Tomoyo arc, which lasted 3 episodes (?), really very short,
I guess it was okay, but it didn't really make you get attached to Tomoyo's character.

Finally the Nagisa arc, about the main character :0
It overlapped with the Tomoyo arc but meh.
IMO, not as interesting as the others, but it had more funny moments.
Except for the Fuuko arc, lol.

Aaah, Fuuko is so cute :o
Even her random appearances are so cute.
I watched the OVA about the Alternate Timeline: Tomoyo Chapter.
Sad, really sad. ):
Who could've thought in 24 minutes of show-time there would be so much...
heartfelt moments.

Eventful weeks

So my first aid course for Scouts just ended.
Damned boring, I must say.
We spent the first 2 days sitting in one classroom listening to lectures,
For almost 8 hours a day.
And the teacher is SUPER boring.
Even her face is boring.
So I kept myself awake by doodling Zong dying to several animals.

Anyway the next 2 weeks will be eventful,
I have Zong's sleep-over thing next week, monday tues and wednesday.
Then I have the class gathering which will be thursday-friday.
Then I have to leave for HangZhou.. HanZhou..
China, to attend my mother's supplier's wedding.
Since my Dad doesn't wanna go and the supplier is a good person,
I have to go.

And all my friends don't want to play DotA making for a lot of alone time.

A weird dream

I don't know whether this dream goes under romance or stupidity.
Anyway, I had this dream last night, and it is a sort of romance thing,
Except it's completely random at the last few parts.
Main character male will be called YunFei
Main character female will be called BeiBei
I stole those names out of drama series 'A Mobile Love Story'
Yadayada.

Started out in Japan/China, I couldn't even tell.
Some random city.
YunFei in his mansion or whatever, and hosting a party.
He has like 9 ex-wives and 1 current wife that he thinks he holds dearly.
After introducing all of them, he walks around and talks to people.
Provoked by a cute girl called BeiBei, she seduces him into a room.
After much hesitation, kissing occurs.
Halfway through, she runs out.
Due to random attraction and a 'feeling' for BeiBei, YunFei follows.
He follows her through a very busy street, and ends up at a hotel.
But he loses her as she runs off into the corridors.

He goes around shouting her name but no one replies.
Also; people tell him to shut up.
With low hope, he walks towards the hotel doors.
Then he sees - WTF - a big lady security guard, an indian/malay for some reason.
He asks if she saw a girl with a blue shirt and very cute (BeiBei's outfit)
She shakes her head, but leans closer and whispers into his ear,
Something about him looking very desperate,
and tells him that she is in a secret apartment in the hotel garden.

He finally finds the place and walks in, finding her to be in a very very exquisite suite.
Like wtf.
She makes her servants go away and asks her what he wants.
He says hes in love with her, for no apparant reason.
After some dialogue and about how BeiBei has kids she can't support because,
All her cash is stolen and she doesn't want to put them in harm,
And that she is only sending them cheques every once in awhile.
And that although she also has a 'feeling' for him,
She is always overseas and cannot promise a good, fulfilling romance.
YunFei kisses her, and then blank screen.

Later on they have a random wedding.

Finally at a musicfest the hotel holds,
YunFei brings BeiBei there and he plays a really crappy guitar solo,
And then he jumps onto backstage.

Kk it goes really random here.

A kid whom is jealous of the people backstage, sets up a bomb at one of the sides.
The stage rocks left and right and YunFei calls BeiBei to quickly come up to the stage
And then he leads her to the back entrance, but not before picking up a random kid who can't walk.
Then he, together with BeiBei and random kid #1, jump onto a spaceship which is piloted by Urahara Kisuke and other random anime characters.


... I think I'm going to grow up to be either a romance novel writer, or psychotic nutcase.

Drama Camp is over

Alrighty, I'm back from Drama Camp.
Glad to say it was a lot slacker than PLSC.
In any case, I'm here to tell you about it.

The first day was okay, we met our trainer, Ms. Menon.
She was a nice person, and we had an okay morning playing games.
We also made completely random skits.
...Ah I can't do this, tomorrow guys, sorry.

The Anti-Post

If you're wondering why there will be no posts, it's because I'm sitting at home doing nothing but play DotA all day.
There's nothing very eventful about that.
Though I have Drama Camp from Wednesday to Friday, so on Friday night there will probably be a post.

Back from PLSC

The reason there wasn't any posts for such a long time is because I was at PLSC (Patrol Leader Selection Camp). So I'm making that post now.

Not going to use my usual format and instead write in paragraphs due to the longness of this post.

THURSDAY

Anyway let's start off on Thursday. I got into 3.07 class, with only Dornel as my friend. Also; Darren. We are kind of screwed since Keith Tan and Arzami are our class teachers and they are rather... strict. Yeah, that's a good word to use. After school, me, Thomas and Zong Chun met up outside our old class, 2.05, and then we went to change out into Scout's Uniform. As usual I was the slowest and they left me behind. Again. Well they waited outside the toilet, but it's cold and alone in there.

FRIDAY

We reported in and we basically spent the rest of the day doing normal boring activities like drills and stuff. It started raining around 7 and we hadn't pitched our tents up yet, so we ended up sleeping in the classroom. Did you know that 16 degrees celsius is SERIOUSLY cold? Especially when you sleep in the PT Kit (Tanktop and very short shorts, around mid-thigh length).

We woke up and reported in for PT. Since it was still drizzling a little (or drizzling heavily, in the words of Thomas), we did our PT inside the boarding school building. Blah blah skip skip. We did station games after breakfast, which was quite fun. The first one involved us (as one patrol, around 6 people) all holding hands and trying to get across a 'barbed wire' wall. Basically it was a few ropes that criss-crossed an empty space and we had to go through this space without touching any of the ropes.

Next was the mud-crawler where you were blindfolded and you either crawled or walked through the mud. Obstacles were put and if you touched them you lost points. Me being fat caused my team to lose a lot of points, but somehow we still got a decent amount of them.

The following game involved building a stretcher and 'saving' a patrol member that was injured. The patrol member is hidden and we have to find him. Of course the stretcher had no cloth so when we actually found him he had to hang on to the stretcher for his dear life.

Finally it was a game where you had your patrol standing on a small piece of sheet (around 14cm by 40cm, estimation) and you had to stay on it for 15 seconds while singing something. Quite stupid in my honest opinion, but we managed to do it. Everytime you succeed the sheet gets folded into half again so it was VERY stupid at the last part, when one of our feet was the size of the sheet.

Then lunch which was quite good, but everyone else thought it sucked. I don't know why. I can't really remember what was next but I do remember that we played Dog & Bone in the mud and it was awesome. Whenever I was called as the second or third person I'd go out and tackle people to the mud and my teammate would score. But sadly we didn't make it to the finals.

Can't remember anything about this day.

SATURDAY

Woke up and went for PT. Came back and tied up the flag, failing and having to go up and down doing it over and over. Same for tent pitching/striking. So much pumping. It was a pretty slackish day, we went for a hike which was around 5km, and surprisingly I made it all the way without complaining. We arrived at West Coast Park (WCP) around 12 noon, and we played station games and the like. Not going to say anything about that. Next we played Find the Jonah(?), LOL. It was quite epic, like 30 people looking for one ninja-person. In the end some other patrol got him because Jonah walked out of his spot since he was bored.

Then we played Hunt the Dragon Patrol. Basically all our major seniors (Senior Patrol Leader, Scribe, Quarter Master etc etc.) ran away from us while we caught them. Some were dragged violently on the floor with a mass of hands grabbing their shirts while they were screaming and trying to get out of the grip, while others managed to drop our members while running for their lives. The best was SPL Jing Shen, who was eating ice cream, when he was tackled from behind, and then tackled at his legs, causing him to spill ice cream on himself, and falling to the ground. Oh well, it's like what they say, the bigger they are, the heavier they fall.

We got back, campfire prep. But since we hiked back (I barely made it! So tired.), we were all too dead to sleep. Jing Shen came into our room and we started insulting Aric (One of the scribes. I didn't take part in any of the insulting since it was kind of mean.) You better remember this, it's vital for that night's events, which I will talk about later. Okay dinner! PIZZA! COKE! Oh my gosh, like half of the camp ran for the coke-dispenser when it was set up. I was too busy munching a pizza, but in the end I got my fair share of the carbonated beverage.

Campfire next, we did our lame skit with me acting as Jo-No Wang, which was basically a parody of Jonah. We went back to the classes to slack a bit afterwards, but then our other SPL, Jerald, started shouting at us to report at the White Eagle in the IB Block with all our stuff. Tired and weary, we walked there with our giant backpacks. Little did we expect what was to come. After we reported, we were scolded for being SERIOUSLY late, and then commanded to fall in at the skate park behind. This is where the torture starts.

I seriously think they enjoy watching us pump, despite their defending themselves.

We were reprimanded on our suckish abilities, bad punctuality and respect. Also, we were scolded a lot for not respecting our seniors. They emphasized on how we called Aric a loser, because he's one of the nicest guys in the current Patrol Leader community. We held pumping position for almost 20 minutes (with short breaks in between) and did 20 push-ups. We went back and slept.

The last day is uneventful and boring so I'm not posting about it.

Now I'm back home and relaxin' on my chair' with a pepsi' and my tablet' so that I can play' some' DotA!'

Maybe it's because I'm not christian.

For the last 2 days no matter how hard I try I always feed.
Everytime I walk in the river I get killed.
Everytime my team goes for a gank I get killed.
EVERYTIME.
It's irritating.
And when my teammates tell me 'dont feed noob'
...
Well, lets just say their game is over.
Need to vent some OFYP(F*YDS)(F*IDSFd anger.

Chinese Karaoke FTW!

Before you guys (schoolmates) start asking questions about my C-box:
- I am not going to explain who Kami or Hime is
- Don't assume anything
- You're eventually going to see more people posting that aren't from school.

Anyway, today was boring as usual. It's only 3:37pm though.
The day could be brighter from this point onwards.
Afterall, we're going to play on Hamachi/Garena later.

So I went to school and for some reason Bristan wasn't in school.
So we waited outside the class, but somehow,
Bryan jacked the door and it was opened.
I went in and did the usual pre-assembly stuff.
Go around knocking Thomas and David and being scared of Lucas.
And those fists.

-Shiver-

Zong came in.
Marcus confronted him about how Zong dao'd him on XBox Live.
There wasn't any real answer, and we headed off to chapel.
They played 6 songs for the first time ever, imba boring.
But then again it's always imba boring.

After that we went back to class after buying !NK papers.
Only to realise that we were supposed to be in CPA2.
So with our !NK papers, we headed off to CPA2.
I got thwacked on the head by Tim Chee!

We had fun listening to some stupid woman be biased to IP students.
So irritating.
Anyway I don't get why school organizes events like ISO Sharing Day
Or Chinese Karaoke competitions.
They should really do a server on what we really want.
SCHOOL-WIDE LAN FOR A DAY!
OH YEAAAH!

We went off for recess after that.
After a bit of searching we found Dornel and brought him with us.
To the POOL-CAF!
Me and Zong bought Pepsi and Coke respectively.
For some reason Zong decided to shake my Pepsi bottle and I got irritated.
So I decided to shake Zong's Coke bottle, and unlike Pepsi,
The Coke erupted and was pouring out, so Zong opened my bottle and guess what,
It also erupted.
Zong threw his plate into the returning basket thingy and wiped up the messy table.
And threw that tissue into my food.
Fag.
So I threw my plate into the returning basket thingy and we went off.
Somehow Marcus ran through the rain without getting soaked
But me, Thomas and Zong decided to go the sheltered way.

I forgot to mention - Dornel had run away half way.

Ah this part is boring.
We went to the Chinese Karaoke session.
Okay it's boring from there.

Truthfully this post was just to make sure you guys don't hoard me tomorrow,
On MSN or in real life.
Just don't, please respect my internet privacy.
I'm sure all my real life good friends will respect my privacy.
And not probe.
I mean it.
Your complexion is at stake.
My nails have just been cut -
And you guys know that means I'm dangerous.

I played a few games of DotA with Merrill.
I performed really badly,
I fed a lot and barely got any kills.
Today's been a bad day for me.
After that we played Element TD!
Fun!
But I lost.
Then after Merrill left, I rm'd and lost around level 49.
I suck at games in general.

For example:
My brother used to play Guitar Hero 3 using the controller,
and I used the guitar.
Now he starts using the guitar and he's already better than me.
Then again he plays everyday...
But I don't have a gamer sense.

I can't believe I call myself Otaku.
Blasphemy against the gods.
ALL HAIL LELOUCH!

A DotA Game

Lol for the last post.
I don't know why but I had translate-to-Tamil turned on.
Anyway,
I started today waking up at 8:30am and falling asleep again.
And waking up at 12:30pm or so.
I hate waking up later than 11.
Then again I do sleep late.
But I slept quite early last night!
About midnight.

Anyway after a bit of doing random stuff,
I went to play DotA on the Garena client.
I was playing with these 3 people with the word NeRd before their names.
When we were ganking they would deal more damage,
And I would let them get the kill.
Only once or twice did I get the kill.

Then I was being chased by 3 heroes,
and their players were like 'Leave him to die'
Even though they could've saved me.
So me being the bugger I am,
I started to feed.
Massively.
I ran into their sniper and let him kill me 3 times,
I let the pudge kill me twice.
And then finally I decided they had taken enough.
Then they were like

"wtf otaku nub"
"kik otaku plz"

I argued back with "I can be noob if you're gonna be useless"
I reminded them of how they left me to die.
They told me "pls we kno u only wan to ks nub"

That was it.
I fed the other team like crazy and then we lost.

...all the while, the whole game everytime I died I said 'm4dsk1llz'

A meeting

Last night I played Garena DotA with Merrill and his friends.
Quite fun except for the fr4gm3ntz guy being an ass.
I found out my fellow scout was very impressive at DotA,
I might be able to beat him, but I couldn't tell since I was using a hero I sucked at,
And he was using Queen of Pain of all heroes.
Oh well, my obsession with DotA and winning continues.

Also, I'm sure I can beat fr4gm3ntz in a 1v1.

Today I woke up early around 8am and spent about 1 hour playing Final Fantasy IX.
Good game, that one.
Then I went in the shower, and well, showered.
Wore my clothes for the day and started drawing out her present.
I thought I would have to make one for her cousin but..
Anyway, later on around 11:50 I set off for Great World City.
I arrived and waiting around 20 minutes before she came.
We spent an hour walking around and looking at stuff.

Our plans for the day were to wait for Chrynos and her cousin to arrive,
then we would go play at a LAN centre for around 2 hours.
Little did I expect as we were walking around, I noticed that -
The LAN centre had been replaced!
By a wedding dress shop thing!
...
wtf.

So a little depressed about what we would -not- do for the day,
We went down and waited for Chrynos to arrive.
When he did, we noticed he had 2 girls with him.
His godsisters apparantly.
Such a large party, totally unexpected.
So with my whole phobia of female-kind,
I just stayed near her since Chrynos' godsisters were apparantly younger,
AND taller than me. Kind of scary.

Basically we did this for a while, until Chrynos asked her godsisters to go away.
Then it was a little more relaxed for me I guess.
We walked around a little before they joined us again,
and we went to the higher levels of the building.
Eventually his godsisters left for Bugis,
And Chrynos didn't go since he was tired.

We spent a while in Ben&Jerry's chatting and playing word games -
- and truth or dare.
I was the only one that, well, dared to dare.

...We walked around a little more and since Chrynos had to go,
we decided to end the day with hugs and handshakes.
And 2 bottles of 600ml pepsi.
Nyahaha.

She went off to go to her parents, while me and Chrynos took a taxi to my house,
from which I guess he just took a bus home.
Hopefully he didn't fall asleep on the bus, he seemed awfully tired.
Oh, but before he left, he passed me a roll of paper.
My present for Sasha.
A little dumbfounded, I started to laugh and walk away.

...That was my afternoon for the day.
Maybe if anything interesting happens I'll update later tonight.

Friday - Green Form Day

I went to school today ready to take a green form home.
Of course Zong had to send me on a guilt trip about the whole thing.
So I spent all of reccess in class just thinking if I should or not.
Feeling my head and seeing as I had a fever anyway, I decided to do it.
I went together with Dornel and Jung at around 10am to go and find Ann Phua.
Since she was on her break, she was in the SAC (Canteen, basically).
I went in first since I was the only one that was really sick.
Of course right after she signed the form and I walked away,
Jung and Dornel came in waving their green forms.

Epic lulz ensued.

Jung and Dornel had to call their parents to make sure it was valid sicknesses.
I didn't have to since I already had a letter written by my mother to excuse me if I was sick.
The 3 of us went back up to class to take our bags and got cursed on by a few classmates.
Then Zong Chun saw us, laughed and decided that he would try his luck.
Marcus also wanted to but he chose not to in the end, or maybe he did it after we left.
Zong went down and me and Dornel stood from far and watched.
From our standpoint, it looked like Ann Phua was imploding from the outside (?)
Though after the whole ordeal, Zong told us that she was happy and trusted him.

Bullshit

Then again maybe it's because Zong looks like the kind of person that gets sick.
A lot. And he always has a Medical Certificate, barely seen him with just a letter.
So we went to the General Office.
After a short while, Darius and Ben Leong came in asking for Green forms.
Ben Leong got his easy, but Darius didn't have his EZ-Link card.
Which was really funny, since he was trying to argue with the receptionist person to get one.
After Zong left, which was quite fast, we got kicked out of the office for being noisy.
So after that it isn't very eventful.
Basically we are outside waiting for our parents and Darius is playing using Jung's cards.
Or 'making magic tricks'.
Such as failing to pick the right ard out of the deck.

Oh well, after that I came home and played DotA, testing the new Magnus mid-solo strategy.
It really works!
Though it's a bit risky since going for the runes every 2 minutes takes a lot of exp and money loss.
Ah well, I just fell asleep after that.

I'm meeting Sasha and her cousin tomorrow so I'm a bit nervous about that.
I wanted to ask Zong or Thomas to go with me, but then I didn't know if she would be okay with that.
Since Carlos/Chrynos may not come, it just makes me all the more nervous about the meeting.

The Thursday Times

I woke up late today, and rushed my shower and clothes change in 5 minutes.
Then I ran downstairs.
To the bus.
Which was waiting.
-ahem-
Arriving in school, I saw David and Lucas advertising the school hoodie w/ zip.
That I designed.
Totally.
We went for the normal stuff, the assembly and all.
After that, me, Zong Chun, Ben Seow and Thomas went for the House AGM meeting.
Boring.
Getting back to class, we spent 40 minutes playing Cheat Uno and normal Uno.
Fun, but then it was results time.
It was (sort of) quiet, and you could feel the tension.

Here are my results (In Percentage) :
English - 62.2
Math - 63.75
Life Science - 64
Physical Science - 55
Geography - 50
History - 79
Chinese - 48
Art - 60
Literature - 66
Average Overall - 65++
It's nowhere near great, but it's not horrible.

After the results were given out, the teachers left and we played Uno for like 2 hours.
Finally we spent the last period stuffing people into closets (I was in for most of them.)
The max we got was 5 (Bristan, Dornel, Marcus, Zong and Me)
I think.
To end the school day, we checked our marks and saw our CIP/Attendance and all that.
Then I went home and ate some Rainbow Milkcurd.

Right now I'm just wondering if I should skip school tomorrow because of my cough
Or suffer with it just to make my friends and teacher happy.
Hm..
