I just got my new Seagate 620gb external today, so I was transferring stuff from my old external (which was virus'd, but my mom's IT support people salvaged 100gb out of 130gb of the stuff, thankfully most of the anime is intact) and came across Shakugan no Shana. I was bored enough so I went to watch the Akai Namida scene, the ending of Season 1 and a short part of the last episode of season 2. Then I came across CLANNAD, and decided to watch Fuuko's ending.

So now I remembered why I love CLANNAD so much. I also watched the episode in Afterstory where Tomoya screws up and he misses out on a planned date with Nagisa to fix his screwup at the work site, following which Nagisa has a 'super-understanding-awesome-wife-that-everyone-wants' moment.

CANAAN and Princess Lover

Project 428. CANAAN. An anime originally introduced to me as an anime with 'girls with guns'. An anime I finish watching as 'anime of this year'. Of course I'm only talking about the animes produced this year. Yes, as biased as I am towards Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu Season 2, CANAAN wins the spot. At least, before October. New animes starting in October, not to mention I haven't watched Bakemonogatari.

Maria Ozawa (This, for whatever reason, is also the name of a pornstar), an ordinary girl visiting Shanghai on her first photography project. The basis of the story and Canaan's light.

Mino-san, Maria's mentor that goes with her. He gets caught up in all this, and serves a role towards the end.

Alphard, a terrorist from 'Hebi'. Antagonist.

Canaan. An 'ordinary girl' as described my Maria. She has the ability to convert her senses into other senses. Her touch into smell, her smell into sight, her sight into hearing. She is the protagonist, the main character.

I just watched the final episode yesterday, but it was pretty late. I'm listening to it again. It's not a bawling crying story, but it certainly has a few lessons it can teach you. Ultimately a well-produced anime with a great story by my standards. Has blood if you're wondering. The ultimatum is awesome but be warned, the ending is a cliff hanger.

Basically, I talked about this awhile ago. I said it was a good anime but in my opinion the last episode was pretty lackluster. Instead of a great fighting scene with a gun versus a sword, it's just a lot of SUPAH-INSPIRING WURDS and the swordwielder blowing the gun straight out of the hand. I'm not using names so I don't spoil, even though I highly doubt anyone will watch this.

Ending scene with the dancing was awesome with the camera angles and 3D feel, though I wonder what the crowd is thinking. That kid just danced with 5 girls in a row, what a playboy!

Worth a watch. Good anime and not huge (13 episodes) but not a MUST WATCH.

Grand Slam

Studied Bio for a grand total of like, 1hr 30 mins.
In that 1hr 30 mins I have recalled everything I know from the last 3 exams, so I figure I'm okay. Especially chapter 2, I have that shit burned into my mind.
Don't know why.
Tomorrow is free mug day, since my 2nd day of exams is only Eng 2. I'm going to bring home A Math and History shit to study. Hell, I don't even bring my History shit to school, so yeah. Hm.

Hm

If any of you are wondering, this is the figure I ordered. It costs a whopping $120 (This is where you all call me a money-wasting Otakufag, or have things finally changed in my favour?), and is my second PVC non-figma figure ever. The first one being the Suzumiya Haruhi one. It should be roughly 17cm, which is a little longer than the shortest plastic ruler.

It's on pre-order and I'll get it probably late-December but I'm hoping for an early release. This of course leaves me with $80 that I doubt my mother will give to me, but I'm hoping she does anyway. Looking at the Kagami figma (even though I don't really want anymore figmas) and the Mio swimsuit PVC figure, which is surprisingly cheap for what it is ($70~$80?). Brandless though.

Mugging season has started, looks like I'll be having solo DotA nights from now until 16 October. If anyone still wants to play though, to de-stress or slack with me, you can find me at otakugfx@hotmail.com.

DotA 6.63, Finals

Recently noticed a severe drop in our teams performance. EVERYONE is sucking now, the only times when we win is when the enemy team is pathetic, or has at least 2 major losers and a leaver. For example, the last game today. TC and the Juggernaut were pathetic. They didn't speak, TC got destroyed by a Magnus in seconds, and even I had more armor/hp than him. Jugg just died, I didn't see him do anything other than omnislashing creeps.

Thomas - Refuses to do what his hero is meant to do, e.g. farming with Tinker instead of killing.

Merrill - Performance depends on hero. Not serious enough, or gets screwed a lot.

Jon Wei - Generally does below average, has very wide gap between good and bad games.

Dornel - Generally below average. Best he's ever done is only 'decently'. Makes bad choices often.

And finally there's me. I personally considered myself the best of the team back then, with Thomas being the only one who can actually match up. Now I'm near the bottom, either above or below the Jon Wei/Merrill/Dornel standards. Ever since about a week ago, my ability to juke (dodge/escape by running around or through trees, up hills etc., basically advanced escapism) has completely vanished. My mouse movement is erratic, and I often miss my spells and can't last hit. I make a lot of typos leading to misunderstandings and frustration, not to mention I do badly in general and my overall play has really fucked up.

I hope that it's really as Merrill says - a 'phase'.

Anyway.

Finals coming soon, 6-16 Oct. Everyone is seriously studying already, except for me. I assume that during those times Dornel doesn't reply, he's studying or something. I should start soon, if I'm serious about not getting into the Con Camp side of Express.

And I want to go to PLSC.

I fucked up because of carelessness.
Koh Siew Lay has a look that scares the shit out of me in a almost completely silent environment.
Hence, I put the C1V1/C2V2 = n/n formula as C1V2/C2V1 = n/n.

Fuck.

And that was the first step I did in Calculation.
I'm FUCKED.

Well honestly I don't care that much. What's done is done, no use being pissed off over something like that, I can't change it after all.

My first bout

Just now was playing DotA (solo) and was losing very badly. Pretty much irritated since I came home, as I found out I lost my EZ Link card. Combined with the loss of my entire stationary set (MY FUCKING $11 STAPLER) and calculator, this led to /RAAAGE/. So my dad walks in and is talking on the phone while asking for my height and weight.

I find it odd, so I shout at him. He shouts back. Later on he goes out, and comes back in and then tells me to get off or he'll get me off for.. me. So I frustratedly shove myself away from the table (wheelychair) and look at him with what Dornel describes as the 'Sheep face'.

Then we proceed to argue. At the end he tells me that he'll never trust me again. (I raised some issue about him refusing to tell me why he needed my height and weight).

Played another game and won (even though I sucked, 12-10 Bloodseeker), and watched an amusing episode of Princess Lover, and then went out there.

And said my first sincere apology.

In a long, long fucking time.

Matter is settled now. Going to mug Chemistry Titration.

Have to start my holiday homework rush now. Not that much, really. Doing my English and Bio tonight, copy A Math tomorrow, do History eventually.

Got a handout today that said that Study Camp for 1 subject is optional, and Con. Camp for 2 subjects is compulsory. I'm assuming that what Mr. Keith Tan said is not actually true, and those with a clean disciplinary record (Like me, no CWO or Demerits ever, not even warnings) should be allowed to go to Con. Camp at minimum.

Right now I'm calculating the marks I need to pass or get A1 for each subject and setting my targets. Their all actually quite low, my Chemistry requirement is only something like 50~60 because of my Term 1 and Term 2, while my Biology needs a massive 81 to get an A1. A Math requires a 55 to get pass which in my opinion is achievable.

Binomial Theorem looks like shit though.

Things I've learned:
- I can draw front-view big breasts.

- I'm an ass- no wait, I knew that long ago.

- I can be an idiot to one person and be my normal cynical self to another person at the same time.

- Hatsukoi Limited is a good anime, no matter how stupid I thought it would be.

- Good friends don't have to have the same generic personality that involves comforting when you want it, or being nice 'just because we're friends'.

Then again for that last one, I'm just assuming I'm a good friend, or at least not a bad one. Ultimately up to others to decide...

Nothing much. Set up a study schedule for this week. Have followed today's to a very decent amount I must say (1/2 of the 2 hours I was supposed to study).

Just came back from Scouts camp. Had a bit of chicken rice which my mom bought for me, and then went to sleep. Slept about 7 hours and woke up at 10. Ate a sandwich and watched 3 episodes of Spice and Wolf II, which is really good although the ending of the Amarti arc was really abrupt. STC was okay, very messy and slacky, but yeah. And we Food I/C's got forgotten about at the end. Jun Meng told us to wait in the class while he sent people up to help us, so we waited and fell asleep and slept for 2 hours straight. When I woke up, Zong and Thomas were still sleeping and I went down to the Scouts den, and found out everyone but a few people had already left, and that we had been sleeping all this time.

Woke up Zong and Thomas and told them to go home, and went home myself.

I wonder, if I hadn't woken up, how long would we have stayed in school.

Really tired now. Eyes sort of hurt and my body is stiff. Sleeping 2 hours in a chair isn't very good, I suppose.

Wednesday have 5 hours Chemistry Remedial as well as a 1 hour lunch break, lasts from 9:30 to 3:30. I think Randall is coming over on Tuesday. Tuition on Monday at 7:15 PM. I do wonder when all of us will go out together, I hope we go out at least once this holiday, even if it's just something like going to Zong's house. Easy and convenient after all.

Teacher's day today. Quite epic. Pulled me away from my PSP, which I was playing while waiting for something interesting to happen. Too bad I'm so short, I couldn't see anything worth seeing, especially the Dancevenia girls.

Going out tomorrow, going to wait in the SAC for the guys lecture to end and go with them for lunch.
