Again?

Ahhh, after watching episode 20 of Toradora!, I am reminiscing about 2.05 again. Probably after Minori was narrating something like 'When we all move to Senior classes next year and split up, I'll always remember this class we have now. We'll all split up, and I don't think I'll ever have as much fun.' Maybe I was the only sad person who didn't go out with friends at all before last year, but I really do miss it. Even with Lam's faggotry and Dornel being more of a jackass. Speaking of which, 3.07 is really miserable now. Darren is gone until Friday, Justin has left the school and Marcus issaaahhh... so I'm left with one friend in 3.07.

Well, since my re-obsession with Toradora!, I'm going to try and learn my favourite track from the OST 'Lost my Pieces' and from what I saw in the video it doesn't get hard until like 1minute of playing. Maybe this time I won't give up.

Still haven't done the Nagisa Collab, or started on the Toradora! fan art.

Life is a dish of assorted nuts

The title has nothing to do with anything except everything.

So I notice recently a lot of my posts have been related to anime in one way or another, or I talk about anime in all of them. This realization will not change anything, I just want to say that I noticed. I also regret not buying that Mikuru figure, damn it.

So today was supposedly the day I do my homework. I woke up at 8, then fell asleep again and woke up at 10. Watched K-On! 13 and then showered, got out about 10:30 and started playing my DS, got my maid to go out and buy food from the market as a special request for my last weekday of the holidays. Pretty simple, I got Laksa, my bro got Chicken Rice and we had Tao Hui for dessert. Spelling may be off.

Currently my homework is not in the least bit done, Randall has offered to come over and help out a bit if I let him whore my PS3, and since I figure if I plan on doing it I'll need all the help I can get, I may just invite him over.

Dornel's been playing DotA with us recently. Well actually, just yesterday and today, but it's a start. This may lead to a bigger DotA party, and slowly growing with Zong getting Warcraft. We may eventually get enough for constant 4v4 inhouses.

Honestly there isn't much to talk about.

On to the anime part.

Planning on rewatching Toradora from Episode 8 onwards, Episode 8 being special because it's the one where "RYUUJI WA WATASHI NO DA! DAREMO SAWARE JANAI!". After that would be the Vacation arc, and I'm not so sure after that. I also skipped a few episodes just now and watched the Christmas one, just to see the music that plays while Taiga __________. Figure I just won't spoiler for whoever hasn't watched it yet and may possibly watch in the future.

Then theres my Asura Cryin 10. And need to go on.
Planning on finishing up the Nagisa collaboration project I have right now, and doing a piece of Toradora fanart. Probably on Taiga or Ryuuji. Yes, I may actually do a drawing of a guy this time. I think he's awesome, for a main lead guy.

Outing

The final one for the holidays unless everyone suddenly feels like going out on Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Met at Cineleisure at 10 to watch Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and then went on to eat at Pastamania. Afterwards, we went LANning for 2 hours of L4D and then spent another 2 hours wandering around Orchard Road. Missed the first MRT (If I'll be honest, I was looking at the map from the escalator and noticed you all, then gave up. Then watched the train doors stay open and then regretted it after the train left.) so I waited for the 2nd one which came quite fast, 3-4 minutes wait.

Got home and played DotA. 3 Inhouses that I lost in a row, proceeded to bloodlustrage and then commence insulting and flaming on everyone and everything possible, just typical Sheep-style. Won a pub with the guys, fixed RBU, played some FFTA2, got Suzumiya Haruhi no Gensou, which is a few songs from SHnY played by a Philharmonic Orchestra (an entire one).

Right now listening to God Knows and it sounds pretty epic, though the singing is a bit off compared to the whole Orchestraic music.

...I guess I don't have much to add. The only homework I've done is Mr.Arzami's, and thats only half of the comprehension questions so I'm pretty screwed in terms of homework. I doubt anyone else did any either though.

Ooh.. Lost my Music...

So. I guess I'll just go sleep now or something, wake up early and continue gaming spree.

RBU and shit.

Started playing RBU last night, have done a few gigs, named the Band Fagpipers and band members are Zong (Vocals), Thomas (Drums), Merrill (Bass) and me (LGuitar). Don't ask me why I went Thomas for drums instead of Dornel or Bristan.
The characters very vaguely resemble our real life personas instead of our wacky ones in Zong's 360 accounts, since there isn't that much variation.
Also, band logo is some.. ram or sheep or something, because other than that there was an angsty emo girl or a peanut.

Also just started doing the English homework, probably will never finish it but meh.

There's also Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 coming out for the PS3 by, like, December. A few other games I want to get like White Knight Chronicles and the FFXIII that will inevitably come out but is probably being held up by 360 production, as well as FFXIII: Versus.

Anyway, been whoring my DS and have gotten roughly 20 hours of gameplay on my FFTA2 save file and continuing on. Just obtained Rock Band: Unplugged and Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, and am going to try them out, like, now.

Holiday Life

Everyone (Me and Merrill, since we're the only ones staying in Singapore) is probably feeling the tiredness that holidays tend to induce. As I mentioned before, since all of you are out of the country or have been at some point of them, there won't be any meetings until at least 17th June (Zong comes back). Until then, I'll probably spend my days sitting at this little desk, watching anime, playing visual novels, surfing the net, waiting for Randall, Merrill, Thomas and/or Jon Wei to log on so we can play DotA as friends. Even when I get pissed off with them, it's at least funner than playing with publics.

But sitting at home definitely has made my life tiresome. I end up laying on my bed every 2-3 hours or so, just staring at the bedsheets or ceiling wondering what to do next. My mom doesn't want to buy me any new games, and I want to use my birthday credit to get money from her on my birthday since an anime convention will happen 3-4 days after my birthday.

So sianded. Watching Shakugan no Shana right now, will probably finish the whole thing (Season 2) by the time Holidays end, will start on my homework soon. Anyway after I finish SnS I'm going to go find a new anime.

So bored.

Do you guys know how it feels to be the leader or the savior of a certain team? I bet all of you do, or did at some point. It feels great, doesn't it?

Zong obviously has been our 'leader' in organising and bringing us together, or I'm just left out of every meeting he doesn't plan.
Dornel probably has lead at some point in Battlefield, maybe MVP (Most Valuable Player) in a team deathmatch and brought his team to victory or something. He probably also felt pretty good when he first started playing Jakiro on DotA and owned me repeatedly for like 3 months.
Danyal is the person everyone goes to when they need help with studies, or at least he'd be my first choice, so you can say he's the leader like that.
Bristan has probably led the church group for something at some point. Church band, maybe?
Merrill is Exco in Band and Section Leader for the 3-man Oboe section (?), and is also our main bassist. :D

And I. Ahahaha, I bring the Fagpipers to the point where they can actually earn fans! And I tend to lead and anchor the team in DotA when I play my Necrolyte or SS (Both of which can completely turn the tides of the game if I bother to play properly).

Just making this post because I haven't in awhile, and I just feel really good obliterating the Sentinels in that last match.

Nothing much happening in my life recently, with everyone out of country except for a select few, I'm damned bored at home. To the point that today afternoon I went down to the pool with my bro and swam with him for awhile and ran on the treadmill for like 10 minutes. Life is pretty boring, it's basically DotA everyday, and when I'm not DotAing I'm finding new anime, watching old anime or playing CLANNAD/Katawa Shoujo/Kanon-soon-to-be.

Sigh, if anyone has anything interesting please tell me.

FC Camp and Katawa Shoujo

It's over and with a little bit of luck, I've managed to pass the course. At least for the knots part, but for drills I only need to know the basic commands and sizing drills, most of which I know. I can do the first 3, to a certain extent but the 4th and 5th ones tend to escape me.

As mentioned before, no plans for the holidays but it seems I'm becoming sick again. Right now I have the aircon off and I'm wearing my jacket but it still feels pretty damn cold. Or at least, to the point where I have to rub my skin every once in awhile just to keep myself warm.

Just finished the Katawa Shoujo Act I demo, anyone who is interested in trying out visual novels should go find it. It's not that hard, and you just have to type Katawa Shoujo into the google searchbox. It's a visual novel made by Americans based on an 'extras' page in a doujinshi (fan-made comic), where the artist, RAITA, drew up 5 girls with disabilities. This group of Americans were inspired by this one single page, and have managed to work for 3 years now, coming up with one of the most brilliant visual novels I've ever played. Then again, that's only like 3, but yeah.

It's safe for work, as in theres no sexual content. There will be in the real release but there's an option to skip those scenes automatically so it should be okay for you all. Characters are well-developed and interesting considering it's only the first Act, which is more commonly known as the 'common path' which is the place where you tend to choose which girl's path you're going to end up on.

The first time, I got Emi, and second time I got Emi, so after that I decided to go and follow the walkthrough which you will find in the forums support section.

Recent happenings and doodah.

Currently, I'm in the middle of having my First Class camp, which is basically a camp where you level up into a level 3 Scout! But since I haven't done the First Class hike yet (50km), I'll only be promoted until Advanced Standard (Level 2), at least until I actually do that FC hike. The plan is to do it together with Zong in November but I highly doubt either of us will be motivated enough to trek 50km, do sketches of every checkpoint and do the pre-hike/post-hike reports. Tomorrow will be the last day of camp, and it will end at 10-11 so I'll probably be playing a lot tomorrow. Want to finish off all the routes of Katawa Shoujo, then I can go on and start on Planetarian which I also hope to finish tomorrow.

Zong will be back on the 3rd week, leaving most of us without an organizer to bring us together for meetings during the holidays, since most of the time we go to his house. Also, without him I'll have no one to argue with/talk to during the outings, unless you bring Thomas. Or Dornel.

Looks like this holiday will be a dull one.

Recently went to KKnM, Ani-Play and the other Ani-Play near Samuel's house. The one near Samuel's house was a big disappointment, if you look at the Ani-Play site, they show a HUGE range of items, figures and soundtracks. But when I actually got to the place, it was bleak and miserable. The figures looked like they had been there forever, I even found one that was packaged nicely in the box, but the shirt sleeve had a COFFEE STAIN on it. I felt like complaining and bitching but I'm not the kind of person to do that. In the end, since KKnM only opened at 2:30, we played at the Ani-Play until 1:40 or so (L4D). Went to KKnM but there wasn't anything new there, except for these mystery gift bags. Didn't notice them at first, and we went to the Sunshine Plaza Ani-Play to browse around. Spilled all the stuff off one of their shelves and dropped a few CD cases but the clerk said it was okay.

Went back to KKnM, and when Randall asked about the CLANNAD posters on the wall, I noticed a 'poster' with 4 of the CLANNAD girls. Asked what it was and she told me it was a desk mat. Was a little hesitant about buying a desk mat (why would I need one), but when I found out it was only $17, I ended up buying it along with a mystery gift bag. Put one vote for Haruhi-sama and one for Nagisa.

Inside my mystery bag was a Nanoha alarm clock, a Little Busters! shirt for a girl called Nuovo or something, and a Haruhi-cheerleader figure. While I'm a bit disappointed since I expected to get at least one CLANNAD item from there or at least the Asahina Maid figure (and I was sort of hoping for a Konata-Haruhi cosplay figma but knew it wouldn't happen), I'm happy after putting up my Haruhi figure. So as of now, if I buy any more figures I'll either have to REMOVE THE BOXES (gasp!) or remove the Haruhi Nendoroids (gasper!) because I have this gut feeling that their fake.

Not much happening in real life obviously, kind of sleepy.
