Back for Recruits Camp'09

Toradora! and other stuff

Recently downloaded Toradora! to the latest episode I could find (22), and really loving it.

I expected it to be a full on love comedy, but was (happily) surprised to find out it had all the deep romantic elements too. Hell, it's not so much funny as it is touching anymore. Well, good for me, if you did not notice I do like the romantic stuff. Though the way things are going, looks like there isn't going to be a season 2 - and their going to end it on a happily ever after note. But I could be wrong, heh.

May be the first anime that has inspired me to read it's manga. May be.

8) I want to put something here but I tend to watch a few selected series at one time instead of going up and down the happy and sad rollercoaster, which will effectively crush whatever sensitivity and sanity I have left. I can't imagine watching Lucky Star and CLANNAD Afterstory at the same time, I wouldn't even know how to feel.

Well, looks like GF09 isn't going to go very well. At the rate it's going now, it's going to be a one day affair and yeah. As far as I know Merrill has practice near everyday, me and Zong have practice on Tuesday, Thursday and for him Saturday I believe. My original plan was to have it on Sunday-Monday since everyone seems to be free (except Merrill maybe) but it looks like Zong has something on that day.

If anyone has any suggestions as to how to plan our so-called tradition then please let me or Zong know. I may be naive to cling on to the past, since now most of us are seperated and live relatively different lives, but I might as well try.

(...yes, being in a different class despite being in IP together counts as seperated.)

Well, fuck.

Don't play if you're not patient enough to wait, I dunno, 5 fucking minutes. That means you, Thomas Lam. Wtf, just wait only 1 or 2 minutes and when things are looking down you just quit, where is that perseverance? Isn't it funner to play with your friends, than with, I dunno, a bunch of COMPUTERS that are PROGRAMMED to play in a CERTAIN WAY? By the way, you're never going to improve playing against AI. Except for last hitting and denying. Humans play in a whole different way compared to bots, so seriously.

...Well this ruined the happiness Toradora! has given me. I must watch the next episode if I want to remain sane. Chances are, with this, I'm going to be fucking pissed at school tomorrow.

I know I suck at poetry, but it's just the emotions writing themselves out. I need to express my sadness, through suckish literature or not.

Nothing special

Woke up at the regular time, showered but then had a stomach ache that kept me in the toilet for like, 20 minutes. After that my stomach still hurt and figured I'd be late for the bus (I'd have 2 minutes to change, wear shoes, pack bag and go down). Checked temp and got 36.2, meaning my medication had worked. At least, the fever medication. Went to my mom and told her about the situation. She kinda stoned half-asleep for awhile, before guilt-bombing me with stuff like "It's your education, not mine. If you think you're really sick, then don't go lah. After all, you're the one losing out, not me." then went back to sleep. After a few seconds of thought, thinking about what I could possibly miss today (I'd have to copy E Math examples and do bio prac make-up next week), I decided not to go to school and told my bus uncle that I'm not going.

But scared of my mom being pissed or something, I stoned outside in the hall for awhile, then had another stomach ache, stayed awake for about an hour (meaning 7:30) then fell asleep on the sofa.

Woke up around 11:30, showered and stoned until 12+, then started playing my ps3.

Only other eventful thing would be

*ringring*
Me: Yeah?
Zong: (phone static) Are you done yet?
Me: (softly) I'm at home, not at school.
Zong: Whaaat?
Me: I'm at home, not at school.
Zong: Fuck you
(static and I put down straight away)

Free time

Took a green form today so I have some really free time to make a post.

Recently nothing too interesting has been going on. Met Dornel's friend, Arieleira, and well that's pretty much it. Results have been decent so far, failed nothing yet, but I still haven't gotten my A math paper so I can't say too much about that. Can't really remember my marks.

English - 56
Chinese - 50
E Math - 57.5
Biology - 74
History - 83 (Being remarked though)
Chemistry - 74

I can't really remember the rest. There's still Social Studies, A Math missing from that list. But if I'm not wrong, my grades will be something like 4 As and 4 Cs, which is sad.

Well... yeah. I'm appearing offline on MSN today so that my mom thinks I'm resting or something, so if you want me to chat or play then just msn my offlineness.

A new piece of art

Took me 3 hours (From today and yesterday)
This is a scanned-in piece from one that I drew about 1-2 weeks ago, and this time it wasn't as tedious as before. Maybe it has to do with me using Photoshop, meh.
